Airdrop Alerts - September 22, 2020

Two chances to get free crypto.

For the first, a reader sent me an opportunity to get some sats for adding your name to a waitlist. For the second, I discovered a DeFi token giving away .12 of its token for free, as long as supplies last.

If you have about 30 seconds (combined) and a spare ETH address, read below for details. No obligations or costs for participating in either airdrop.

IMPORTANT! Never give anyone your passwords or private keys. Never send cryptocurrency to any wallet you do not control. If you don’t have a separate email account for airdrops and other promotions (crypto-related or not), you may want to create one. Try Proton Mail or Gmail and keep that email separate from your personal accounts. Use good online hygiene and NEVER give out sensitive information.

Airdrop #1 - GoSats

The first airdrop comes from GoSats, a platform that lets users earn bitcoin for shopping with partner merchants. The platform will also feature crypto trading and “learn & earn” benefits for watching educational videos about crypto.

Airdrop #2 - XYearnFinance

The second airdrop comes from XYearnFinance and it expires today.

I’ll be honest, I know nothing about this project. But it only asks for a ETH address, which is about as low-risk as it gets.

NOTE—the team has limited the total number of free XYFI, so I can’t guarantee any will be left for you when you participate. Also, I don’t know what you’ll need to do to redeem your crypto once the platform launches nor whether it’ll be worth anything when you do.

FYI—I created a new ETH wallet just for this opportunity, simply because I like having a few public wallets. You can use your normal ETH address, just keep in mind, anybody with a little tech savvy can see what you have in that wallet address.)
