Chart 1: Not quite settled, but close
Did our recent drop “reset the market,” as some analysts claim?
No.
aSOPR remains elevated. A healthy “1” level reflects an equilibrium between buyers and sellers. We’re falling but not quite there yet.
We still have some froth to ring out. That should happen soon.
Chart 2: Big ETF numbers, but look at the trend
This chart plots the Wall Street ETF inflows and outflows as a rolling 7-day average.
You can pick one of the three trendlines I’ve drawn. They all go down. This chart is two weeks old but the trend persists today.
How can you reconcile the downtrend with the reports of massive institutional interest and demand for exposure?
