Yesterday, Congress held a hearing about one of the US’s crypto regulators. You can watch it here.

Or not. I didn’t.

I worked in Congress for most of my 20s. Hearings are pure theater. They’re simply a chance for members to feel important and make people say the things they want to hear.

Pay no mind. All the real work happens out of sight.

We care about the markets. Bitcoin, specifically, because altcoins go in whatever direction Bitcoin goes.

What did we get this week? Down 4% one day, up 5% the next, and we’re back to where we started. Gehenna on the way down, Nirvana on the way up, and horizontal on the landing.

Time to worry? Is the worst behind us?
