Chart 1: Whale don’t fail
The Exchange Whale Ratio fell off a cliff.
In the short run, you get your best entries when the metric spikes up, meaning whales—people and entities with multimillion-dollar wallets—rise as a proportion of the entities using exchanges relative to small accounts.
Chart 2: Altseason is a rare and fleeting thing
Strange fact: Bitcoin’s performance beats the overall market over any random span of time.
In fact, outside of altseason, a “diversified” portfolio lags or paces BTC. Take a look at the classic “Bitcoin dominance” chart, which shows the strength of Bitcoin vs. all others:
